Later on in the video, he explains how he would treat the injury surgically. This video was a great aid in understanding the injury itself and how to treat it.

An athletic trainer can best treat an injury through rehabilitation exercises
- rehabilitation exercises strengthen muscles of certain areas where injuries have occurred
- Aids in dealing with nagging injuries and restores the injured area to pre-injury condition
- In the case of surgery, rehab allows the injury to heal in the correct manner
